About the Insightimpulse Project
Welcome, or Editor’s Column!
I’m delighted to welcome you to our online platform, where together we’ll explore the latest developments in psychology, self-improvement, and healthy living. I’d like to share how the idea for Insight Impulse was born and the mission we’ve set for ourselves.
The idea came to me when I was repeatedly trying to listen to a fascinating interview with Ellen Langer in English, but my language skills didn’t allow me to fully grasp the meaning. I watched certain segments of the video multiple times, yet still missed something important. That’s when I decided to convert the interview into text for myself, so I could finally understand everything.
And then it struck me: I’m not the only one! How many people, just like me, want to hear renowned experts and learn more about psychology, health, and scientific research in these fields, but are hindered by a language barrier or limited accessibility? Not everyone can watch videos, and some people simply find it more convenient to read text. That’s when I realized that we needed to create a resource where essential knowledge would be accessible to everyone in an understandable and convenient format.
And that’s how Insight Impulse was born.
What you’ll find here
Of course, we do all of this with respect for intellectual property. In each article, we cite the sources where you can find the original interviews and videos, so if you wish, you can always watch them on YouTube.
Our Mission
We believe that knowledge has the power to improve lives. Our mission is to make scientific research and practical advice from leading experts accessible to everyone. We want each person to better understand themselves, their health, and the world around them. And most importantly, we want this knowledge to help you become more mindful, healthier, and happier.
Insight Impulse is created for those who strive for self-improvement and want to live in harmony with themselves and the world around them. We are confident that mindfulness and science can enhance the health and well-being of each of us.
Thank you for being with us!
Keeping a finger on the pulse,
yours, Masha Kalinkina
